During my final months of college I was applying to multiple degree apprenticeships in the technology industry but the process was proving difficult.

I joined British Land as part of the Commercial Property Graduate Scheme in 2017 after graduating from Reading University having completed an MSc in Real Estate.

When I first joined British Land I had no idea which part of the property industry or business I wanted to pursue a career in. The graduate scheme was great as it allowed me to work across three very different departments – Property Management, Office Leasing and Retail Analysis – developing various skill sets and allowing me to explore different parts of the business. I started the graduate scheme in the Property Management team and was given real responsibility right from the word go, 直接与客户交谈，并被赋予我自己的建筑组合来管理, 这一切都得到了我的团队的支持，他们总是在我身边提供帮助.

At the end of the scheme I was offered the opportunity to join the team where I am now a Leasing Manager focusing on our 层 portfolio. It has been great to return to the team and take on more responsibility while continuing to be given all the support I need to progress in this next stage of my career.
